Satan’s Power Over the World

1 John 5:19

We know that we are of God, and that the whole world is under the power of the evil one. We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

We know (positively) that we are of God, and the whole world (around us)  is under the power of the evil one.

How does the Evil One have the ability to control the whole world and the power over the whole world? WOW!

He does this through the following thoughts that he puts into our minds:

1. Hate- 13 Do not be surprised, my brothers and sisters,[a] if the world hates you. 14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other. 15 Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him. Love is the opposite of hate! 

2. Pride – a selfish feeling that I do not need others. All selfish feelings come out of PRIDE. Love never has pride!

3. Fear – This opens the door for demons to take over (There is no fear in love. 1 John 4:18a

4. Lies- He is the liar from the very beginning of time. Love will never lie to you!

You belong to your father the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him.When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

5. Uncleanness- Demons are actually called unclean spirits. Everything thought that a demon gives is dirty.

Ex: Feeling evil about someone that really loves you.

      Speaking hard angry words.

      How do you feel if someone speaks evil to you?

      How about if they make fun of you?

These are unclean spirits speaking through them. Love is pure and clean! 

6. TRAUMA- All trauma is somehow related to a lack of love- always and almost always there is a manifestation of hate where the Person is traumatized, even if the person loved them. Love will never traumatize another person! 

Psalm 139: 23-24

God is love- Sometimes people think that God is uncaring and unfeeling because He tells us and commands us to love everyone. The liar satan will speak to people's minds that God does not care about you and this is why He is telling you to do something that He knows you cannot do, like LOVE. This is very far from the truth. When God tells us to do something, It is always full of perfect wisdom and compassion. He is always wanting what is best for us. This is his very nature. He is not a cosmic monster that has absolutely no care for his creation and He only wants them to obey His every wish. This how all of the other false gods treat their servants.1 John 4:8

The Father is love and He is full of compassion.

Compassion comes from 2 words com-  with and passion- to suffer. It is God's compassion that causes Him to suffer with us every time we are hurting, abused, rejected, hated or treated in a way that traumatizes us.

In the very beginning God wanted his children to live from His own life and this would have happened if they would have chosen to eat from the tree in the center of the garden called the Tree of Life, but they chose the tree of knowledge.

It is through God's own life, that we are in the substance of pure love and we are releasing the substance of pure love. But after they chose the forbidden tree- this brought into them an independant life that was self centered and could only depend on itself for substance. This was never the plan. When God commands us to always love. He is actually bringing us back to the original plan. To live from His very own LIFE.

Now through Christ, we are receiving and releasing the very life and love of God IF our focus and our FAITH is centered on the risen ascended CHRIST. The entire world is UNDER the power and control of the EVIL ONE! But it is LOVE that frees us from all of his control in our lives. ​
