In this World, You shall have Tribulation

John 16:33 in the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer:
I have overcome the world.

In the world ye shall have tribulation but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. Tribulation-original word means pressure (literally or figuratively), afflicted, anguish, burdened, persecution, tribulation and trouble.
What is the purpose of tribulation? It is very positive, but most people see it as a negative. James 1:2 says, Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. One of the meanings of this world is adversity, affliction, trouble.
Now in James 1:3-5 it says, Be assured that the testing of your faith(through experience) produces endurance (Leading to spiritual and maturity, and inner peace).
And let endurance have its perfect and completely developed and lacking in nothing.
So, all of these trials, temptations, and tribulations are sent to produce in you a state of being that makes you both unconquerable in this world.
So, instead of hoping that you do not have troubles, be encouraged by each trouble, knowing that it has a specific purpose in your life and that
PURPOSE IS TO PERFECT INSIDE OF YOU THINGS THAT NEED PERFECTING!
In otherwords, it is your Father in heaven that is in total control of every situation.
Rejoice, be thankful and be expectant in every single apparently negative situation and you will see God turn that negative situation into a positive.
Troubles are not meant to reveal we are losers, but they are meant to reveal we are overcomers. The risen Christ will show His life and power through you in every tribulation and trouble.
He needs those very problems to reveal His power in you.
So, my prayer for both of you is that you both will not fear any trouble ever, but instead look forward to it with anticipation because Jesus is alive and living inside of you. 1 John 5:4 "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world and this is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith."
2 Cor. 2:14
But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us spreads and makes evident everywhere the sweet fragrance of the knowledge of Him.
Peter, James and John went up on a great mountain with Jesus and the result was they wanted to just stay up there and affect no one. Shadrach, Meschach and Abedinego were thrown into a fire and what was the effect? They changed the laws of the nation and they brought great glory to their God and King.
Daniel went into the lions den and what was the result? He changed the laws, he glorified his God and His God was to now be acknowledged as the only TRUE GOD in the universe.
Daniel 6:26- I make a decree, that in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for He is the living God, and steadfast forever, and His kingdom shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.
